Avian Coccidiosis, caused by a protozoan belonging to the genus Eimeria, is a prevalent intestinal disease found worldwide. It presents with both clinical and subclinical symptoms, significantly impacting the performance and productivity of domestic livestock.
Economic impact of the disease is significant. The annual financial loss in the poultry industry as a result of coccidiosis has been estimate at over US$ 14 billion/year globally (Damer P. Blake et al, 2020). These costs include control and treatment, as well as losses due to mortality, drop in average daily weight gain and decline of feed conversion.
We are proud to be able to provide the Vietnamese poultry industry with the tools to control coccidiosis in their flocks.
